This is a 4 hour class room course that meets the State of Oregon requirements for concealed carry. This course not only includes lecture, but is hands-on with a variety of handguns and holsters to learn the basics of safe handling, effective concealment, and Oregon law. While safety and storage are covered, where Hosie Consulting & Training is different is hands-on for both concealment methods and types of hand guns. Also discussed are a variety of bullets types with several recovered from building materials, body armor and flesh. While a bit on legalities, more emphasis is put on fighting mind set and psychological issues.

About the Instructor
David Hosie is a now retired 20 year active and reserve Army Veteran, serving both in Infantry and Cavalry Scout roles, ending his career as Sergeant First Class. He has served multiple combat tours in Iraq. He is specially trained as an Army Instructor and is also an NRA Certified Pistol and Rifle Instructor. He has many years of experience training both military personnel and civilians of all ages. He is tired of training large numbers of people at a time and wants to give personal attention to students to help them do their best and meet their personal wants and needs related to self-defense and firearms. He believes everyone should be able to exercise their rights to use firearms and wants to help people safely gain confidence and mastery of firearms in a comfortable, personalized atmosphere.
